10/4/04: First off GREAT SHOW everybody.  Great performance, great turnout... hopefully after such a great show we got some good word of mouth to draw an even bigger crowd next show.  We will get back to standing room only :-) I also would like to congratulate our stage crew.  This is the first show completely done with the all new crew, great job guys the show definitely went off without a hitch.  Keep up the good work.  But now... show being over and done with here is an important message for you all WRITERS MEETING THIS AND EVERY THURSDAY, 9:00 PM @ LIL' ALF also new writers... start getting ideas down.  You know your out there, we've had about half a dozen people say they want to write, so lets start seeing some scripts.  Also... for the next pirate video... we are going to do The Pirate Party Massacre.  This is an idea I've been throwing around for a while now and it is going to kick @$$.  But I'm open to ideas for ways to kill people and additional funny murdering spoofs or just funny things to do that are sort of horror related.  On that note we had a record turnout for the video, 19 people.  Click Here For Video It was awesome to actually have the people needed for the video.  Good Job.  Till next time.... Yo ho ho a pirates life for me.

9/15/04: Sorry for the delay in getting this very important news up but classes and all I really haven't had a lot of time to update.  AUDITIONS!!!! went really well.  We have a great new addition to our cast this year, 7 new very talented scaly wags that we can abuse and make asses of on stage... I mean... well you know.  Anyway the new Members of the cast are as follows: Jodi Anderson, Belinda Black, Katie Hill, Ian Phillips, Eoin O'Neill, Sandy Symonds, Zach Woolridge. So congratulations to these fine new pirates and best of luck through Boot camp... just kidding... or am I?  Also the Cast and Alumni pages have been updated. On a side note just a friendly reminder that Writers meetings start this week... So here's the same old shpeal WRITERS MEETING THIS AND EVERY THURSDAY, 9:00 PM @ LIL' ALF we strongly urge all pirates especially the new guys to come to the writers meetings.  I believe Fred mentioned something about having a mini script writing seminar at this first meeting so it is not something you want to miss.  Also... Its about that time for shooting the video for the first show.  So if you have any ideas bubbling up in your head saying to yourself, wow that's a great idea I just had for a video.  Drop us an email and I'll figure out if we can do it.  *Note* The videos are open to anyone not just cast members.  Alright enough ranting on my part... Time to leave the Pirate Zone and go back to your meaningless lives... just kidding... Or am I?

8/30/04:  Ahoy Maties... Welcome back and for the new pirate wantabe's Welcome.  All of our show dates are now scheduled and Auditions only a week and a half away we are prepping for another great year.  As noted above the first show will be October 1st, which means start getting the creative juices flowing if you haven't already and get some scripts in.  And for everyone who has already submitted keep up the good work.
If you are a freshman checking us out online, a pirate n00b or maybe you've been coming to our shows for years and are thinking.... wow pirate theater is the best thing I've seen since sliced bread... I wish I could be part of something as cool as pirate theater.  Well here's your chance.  Auditions are going to be held on Thursday the 9th of September.  If your interested in Crew, Cast, Props, Writing, Sound crew, Lighting, video or just want to find out more about Pirate Theater stop by Nevin's Theater in Powell @ 7:00 pm.  We're going to have free food and drinks as well as show clips from old shows so you all know what us scurvy scum do.  The auditions are informal and you only have to actually try out if your looking to be in the cast.  A bunch of us pirates will be there to mingle and get to know all you guys that want to be a part of pirate theater.

6/14/04: Hey look..... An update.  Been a while but in the summer months what can we really say.  A few things on the site have been updated.  First off, all flyers from this year are now up.  Second I put up a couple pictures in the pictures section that one of our pirate alumni's had submitted.  They're some good old cast pictures, actually the last of the pirates in these pics graduated this year.  Which brings me to my final note, just another farewell to all of the graduated pirates, have fun joining the world of workers or further on in the ranks of grad school.

4/29/04: Well guys with the Year coming to a close and Pirate Theater ending for this semester, just wanted to say good luck to all people graduating in a few weeks. Pirate Theater is going to be loosing a lot of great talent and I'd like to let be known the great pirates we will be loosing. Graduating Pirates: Steven Frost,  James Gilbert,  Emily Hellman,  Colin Kelley,  Courtney Vetter,  Kerry White.  On a positive note, the show went great. If you missed it you missed one hell of a show.  Everything went real smooth, except for the projector not turning on, but that was quickly fixed.  Just remember everyone, if you love Pirate Theater and would like to become a part of the Pirate Phenomenon, we will be having auditions at the beginning of next semester. Look for flyers up around Campus probably the first or second week of September.  Another note, next year is going to be the 10th Anniversary of Pirate Theater, congratulations Pirates way to go for putting the "ugh" in laughter for a good 10 years.
