4/22/04 With the show coming up home stretch, just like to let everyone know that this next show is going to be awesome. For those of you who don't know here's what we have in store for you, to start off the show a bran Spankin' New Intro Video, 7 funny as hell skits, and 3 videos.  Yeah, that's right, 3 video's, This is a pirate Theater first, never before have we had so many great videos in one show. Also remember this is going to be the last show for a few of our pirates so come out and support them.  So here's your friendly reminder PIRATE THEATER, APRIL 23rd, HOLMES AUDITORIUM 9:00 PM  (The Ultimate Hot Dog Day Pre-Game.)

4/20/04 Hey all. Been a little while since an update so here you go.  We've got both videos filmed for the show. One is completely done and the other is still being edited.  Also, the next show will have the premiere of the NEW INTRO VIDEO!!  All new and updated, hope you all enjoy it.  First rehearsal was yesterday and from what I saw last night we have one hell of a show in store for you all.  This is going to be a show you don't want to miss.  So here's the reminder PIRATE THEATER, APRIL 23rd, HOLMES AUDITORIUM 9:00 PM  (The Ultimate Hot Dog Day Pre-Game.) Don't forget.  Tonight's rehearsal will be in Roon @ 9:00, so see you all there.
 
4/10/04 Yay, second post for the day, we where able to get a camera from AUTV after all.  The Stage Manager video is now all filmed and ready to hit the editing table.  I think it turned out quiet good and it will be shown during the show in 2 weeks.  So its time for the reminder PIRATE THEATER, APRIL 23rd, HOLMES AUDITORIUM 9:00 PM  (The Ultimate Hot Dog Day Pre-Game.) Hey hey, Just to let everyone know we are going to try to get the video started tomorrow.  We ran into some problems this morning getting a camera, plus the turn out wasn't very good.  We have 3 things that we need to film. First off is the video for the next show entitled Amputate. The second is the changing of the Stage Manager and thirdly if we have time is a trailer for the Alfies Awards for PIRATE THEATER: The Movie.  We've got some great ideas for all 3 of these videos but we need people to help out.  Jay and Fred are going to send out like 5 e-mails one each day before the next shoot, because the participation is lacking so much.  We really need people to help out with these shoots.  Alright that's all for today.... P.S. don't forget about the writers meeting this and every Thursday @ 9:30.
 
4/2/04 He he, April Fools, come on do you really think Pirate Theater could be taken out so easily?  The could cut off our arms and legs, even cut us at the belt, and we'd still be fighting, we'd bite their knew caps off!  Any who just thinking of amputation, we will be shooting the final video of the semester next weekend, I believe its the 10th or something like that.  We welcome anyone who wishes to participate.  Cast, Crew and Pirate Groupies. The video idea we have been passing around is Amputate, a weight loss program.  I think you can get where this is going.  Also we are shooting a second video piece as a good bye to our stage manager, James Gilbert and a hello to our new guy.  Good old balding Red Top... Gene Lowes, Eugene for short.  We are shooting that this Sunday, if your interested in helping out on either video just drop and e-mail to jbr1@alfred.edu or pirates@alfred.edu and we'll let you know a specific time and place, once we figure that part out.  Also even though its a ways off I have to start promoting it PIRATE THEATER, APRIL 23rd, HOLMES AUDITORIUM 9:00 PM, its Hot Dog Day weekend, so come join pirate theater for the ultimate pre-game to getting sloshed and wasted beyond your wildest dreams.

* For legal reason pirate theater does not support underage drinking of any kind. Yes we do who the hell are we kidding, drink up
 
4/1/04 Hey all, it truly is a depressing day, if you haven't already herd after almost 10 years of making the Alfred student body laugh their asses off, Pirate Theater is going to be canceled.  Apparently we are to offensive and a bunch of people complained after the last show.  The amount of complaints was just enough of an excuse the university needed to get us of campus.  If you hear rumors of pirates conducting comedy in underground dungeons just for the sheer thrill of putting on laugh out loud comedy, come look for us, we will be there.  In the words of James Gilbert A pirate never dies or fades away, they will return and show up at random and ask to crash on your couch. Pirate Theater will never die, pirates for life, and good luck to all.
 
3/29/04: Ahoy maties, so the sites been up for about a week now and since I've had nothing better to do with my time, there have been many updates lately.  The profiles are almost done, just a few people that still need to get me their info.  I found a bunch of pictures we took at a rehearsal last semester so even if you didn't submit a picture for me I may have added it for your profile.  If for any reason you don't want that pic up of you only one way to get it down... give me another one to replace it.  Lets see... the video from last show is up, along with the picture archive.  The picture archive is quite small right now so yet again im asking for your help, if you have any pictures you want to submit for the site jbr1@alfred.edu or pirates@alfred.edu, you know the drill.  Alright get those profiles in if you haven't yet and remember WRITERS MEETING THIS THURSDAY @ 9:15 BY LIL' ALF!!! Be there.... Or be somewhere else... but seriously, just be there.
 
3/22/04: Today is the day, a very special day, for the NEW Pirate Theater site is finally updated to www.piratetheater.20m.com.  The site was in desperate need of updating and it finally is now.  On another note I sent out an e-mail earlier today about the pirate profiles, if you haven't checked your e-mail yet you should do that and let me know what you want on the site for your profile. (If you want some examples go to Alumni and check out some of them) only 3 members of the current cast have one from when ex-captain Brian Pinto did them god knows how long ago. Also, if anyone has any ideas on how to make the pirate site better drop me an e-mail jbr1@alfred.edu or e-mail the pirate account, I can get them there to now.  Also get your nominations in for the Alfies, 3 male and 3 female.

Ahoy Maties, Tonight's the night, first rehearsal for the next show.  Don't forget to be @ rehearsal tonight, 9:00 in the Science Center Lecture room... whatever it is called.  Well time for work, just thought I'd put up that quick post.
 

3/10/04:

A reminder to everyone the next show is coming up quick and this Monday we have our first rehearsal for the show. Shows on the 19th, so if your in the Cast start preparing for the show and if your reading this cause for some reason you have an interest in a bunch of College goofballs making complete and utter fools of themselves on stage then you'll want to be in Holmes Auditorium on Next Friday the 19th @ 9:00....pm. (Don't worry you can sleep in)
 
3/03/04: We got the video for the next show shot today.  For all of you who don't know what we're doing for it... Listen up... For I shall tell yee a story of some pirates, Some pirates who dance around like idiots in Ade.  Alright we are doing a parody of the Fat Boy Slim - Weapon of Choice, music video.  If you haven't seen the video it has Christopher Walken in it dancing around a hotel lobby.  So we put a little pirate spin on it.  No spoilers for this one you'll see it @ the show on
